So that the offspring in your kid’s paradise feel well and Mum and Dad are able to enjoy their vacation reassured and relaxed, all our establishments fulfil the basic requirements which guarantee our guests that they feel welcome as a family, and our philosophy is carried by all member establishments.
The basic family services give you information about which offers can be expected for families in the individual establishments. In order to make your orientation easier, we have categorised all enterprises with Freddys. Similar to the way hotels are distinguished with stars. The more Freddys, the broader the family services on offer

3 Freddys
All establishments must fulfil the basic requirements. The minimum criteria is the requirement for membership with „family austria“.

• Generous family apartments (at least 2 separate rooms) or a family double room (suitable for at least 3 persons)
• Baby and toddler facilities (free rental)
• Information folder with special family excursions
• Smoke-free zones
• Buggies, back-carriers (free rental)
• Child friendly indoor play area
• Family games (free rental)
• Outdoor play area, safe from traffic
• Well maintained, natural surroundings around the establishment
• Half-board (if facilities/restaurant are available in-house)
• The possibility of large, family-suitable tables, high chairs
• Children’s meals, children’s cutlery, children’s tableware; availability of table games, colouring-in sets to bridge waiting times
• A vital-corner mornings and evenings with healthy, local products
• Smoke-free zones in the restaurant
• Babysitter service organisable at any time (organised in-house, for a fee)
• At least 15 hours per week childcare (in-house or externally organised)
• At least 3 x weekly family health active programme, like eg.: tobogganing, hiking (in-house or externally organised)
• Issue of the Freddy-Fit booklets

4 Freddys
Establishments with 4 Freddys offer the following additional services:

• Complete darkening possibilities
• Sauna & steam-bath in-house
• Joint sauna times for parents and children
• Year round swimming facilities for grown-ups and children at least locally (in town)
• Non-smoking restaurant
• Competence in health – either the host or a staff member – nutrition issues (eg.: Diet foods at request)
• At least 40 hours per week of childcare (organised in-house)
• At least 4 x weekly family health active programme
• At least 1 x weekly family games evening (organised in-house)
• „Wirbelix Exercises“ 3 x per week, 1 x thereof with the parents

5 Freddys
Establishments with 5 Freddys offer the following additional services:

• Year round swimming facilities for grown-ups and children in-house
• Cosmetics and massage in-house
• Children’s bath-robes, hooded baby bath-robes (free rental)
• 24h possibility for the preparation of children’s meals
• At least 15 hours per week of active children’s health care, like eg.: pony walking-tour (organised in-house)
• At least 5 x weekly family health active programme (organised in-house)
• „Wirbelix Exercises“ 5 x per week, 2 x thereof with the parents
