Familiengut Hotel Burgstaller - A perfect holiday. By nature.

A 30,000-m² garden with play and adventure area is available to guests for sports, recreation, relaxation and enjoyment.

Here, in the dreamy village of Döbriach, our family estate has been devoted entirely to sustainability. Ecological, organic, natural: these three words say a lot about the Burgstaller Familiengut Hotel. But not everything:

Part of the estate – 1,400 m² of roofed area, with stables, an indoor riding arena, dressage arena, tack room, ponies and Haflinger horses – belongs to horse lovers. Meanwhile it’s "Game, set and match" on our two tennis courts. Every day, our loving and dedicated caregivers prepare a wonderful and varied program for children. Your little one’s eyes will light up when they see the 240-m² kids’ club complete with crafts corner, disco for kids, children’s movies and slide. Pony rides, tractor rides and campfires are just some of the highlights of the kids’ club program.

While the little ones are in the best of hands, parents finally have some time for themselves: you can opt for a soothing massage or cosmetic treatment, followed by some down time at the Salt Lounge in our spa, Himmelreich (lit: Heaven’s Realm). Our trainer will keep you fit with back strengthening, yoga, Pilates, and balance exercises. The farm is home to happy cows, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs and goats. Many of our own products are produced here: Speck ham, salami, lettuce, carrots, beets, potatoes, apples and berries. Our own power plant generates electricity. The comforting warmth you’ll feel throughout the building comes from our wood-chip heating station; we source the wood from the forest ourselves. Hotelier Adi Burgstaller is not only an enthusiastic protector of the forest, hunter and gamekeeper – but also a farmer because he believes in it and a host because he loves it.

When Adi Burgstaller took over the farm from his parents he with a clear goal: to run on a wholly autonomous power supply by 2018. Organic farming, regional action, natural warmth, traditional cuisine, genuine hospitality, an authentic holiday experience and Mother Nature wherever you look. Our superior double rooms, all of which have been redone, and a varied program for recreation, children and the whole family await at the Burgstaller Familiengut Hotel.
