Trips to the end of the valley

There’s an extraordinary number of fun activities waiting to be discovered in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Many of the facilities are especially attractive for children – and destinations such as the Wanderlehrpfad and the tree-top trail (at the valley end), Schnitza’s Holzpark and Teufelswasser can be visited along with the childcare team of the SONNE Miniclub who arrange regular excursions.
Europe’s Largest High Ropes Park
At the end of the valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm lies Europe’s largest high ropes park – a true highlight for thrill seekers and adventurers. With over 200 stations reaching up to 40 meters high, it challenges courage, coordination, and balance. Zip lines, wobbly bridges, and exciting climbing elements offer pure action for kids from around age 6 to seasoned climbing fans. Professionally secured and set in nature, it’s the perfect adventure for families, groups, or anyone aiming high.

Wildlife Trail Saalbach
The Wildlife Trail at the end of the Saalbach Hinterglemm valley is an interactive nature path where visitors of all ages can discover local wildlife. Guided by the mascots Lilo and Ossi, you’ll encounter life-sized wooden figures of eagles, chamois, marmots, and more – and with a bit of luck, maybe even spot real animals through binoculars! Kids can take part in a fun quiz with a reward at the end. A natural outing that’s free and open daily.
