In the following we introduce you to our house and our services. You already discovered some of our services and facilities under “Particularities & Highlights“.
The 4-Star Hotel Sonnblick is located in the centre of Kaprun, at the foot of the Kitzsteinhorn and at the gates of the Hohe Tauern National Park. In 2020, the hotel was completely renovated and expanded with care and attention to detail. In May 2021, the hotel celebrated its reopening with many regulars and many new faces.
In Zell am See-Kaprun you can enjoy the highest variety of experiences as well as unique and extraordinary holiday moments between glacier, mountain and lake. The year-round destination allows you to marvel at the treasures of nature all year round.
In winter, 408 kilometres of slopes invite you to enjoy pure skiing adventure, while in summer you can enjoy endless hiking and biking trails through the valley or on the highest mountain peaks in the region. Young and old alike can enjoy themselfs.
Culinary pampering our guests with regional and seasonal delicacies as part of our half-, or 3/4-board. For the youngest among you we offer our own children‘s menu.
You can have breakfast and dinner in one of our different restaurant rooms – traditional in our “Zirbenstube” or our “Stüberl” or modern and alpine in our winter garden with high panoramic windows and views of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.
In addition to our “Zirben SPA“ with saunas, whirlpool, heated benches as well as various relaxation rooms and waterbeds, the year-round heated outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing lawn and sun loungers invites you to linger and let your soul wander.
For our young guests, there is a play area as well as a playground with a trampoline, ping pong table, lounge cushions, adventure slides, swings, climbing wall, and sandbox. Our game room, with football table, air hockey, etc., allows for everything – a place for meeting and making friends, where only the creativity of the little ones sets the limits.
