Yes, we are a family hotel and no, we don’t have a guilty conscience about developing an Adults only mountain SPA area. Because we know that mums and dads just like to steam away in well-deserved peace and quiet, while the little ones and middles are well looked after and cared for. And the new spa should also guarantee that fine exclusivity for couples, which is why they have chosen our 4-star superior hotel in Obertauern.

Our dear ever-returners, the Hotel Steiner regulars, have wished for it: to swim, sauna and relax outside. And with a view. The outdoor pool
Austria’s probably highest infintiy pool at 1,800 metres above sea level (yes, we are still measuring and comparing) is the centrepiece of the new Adults only RooftopBergSPA. Swim out to the abyss, towards the mighty
the mighty mountains, the view of the Zehnerkar. Those mountains that had challenged your calves hours before, which are now being brought back into shape in the warm, relaxing water.

Rooftop saunas
From the infinity pool and the fine lounging areas around the water, a staircase leads all the way to the top. To the exclusive relaxation area and to the sauna pleasures, where we like to heat it up. Once classic – with the Finnish sauna (90 degrees), once a little gentler with a bio sauna (60 degrees). What will make you sweat more: the temperatures or the view of the Seekarspitze? It’s best just to try it out.
Panorama room
As already briefly mentioned: right at the top, with fantastic views, we invite you to linger in the BergSPA Panoramaliegeraum. For relaxing, drinking tea, reading, stargazing, “reviewing the day”. Wellness at the highest level, at the highest level. What does it have to offer? Double recliners, single recliners, comfortable cosy chairs – and views, as the name suggests. We just say: Zehnerkar
